Hamlin County in northeastern South Dakota... * Until 715 PM CDT. * At 609 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from over Thomas to near Lake Poinsett, or along a line from 5 miles southeast of Goose Lake to near Lake Poinsett, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. There will be two waves of winds, with the first on the leading edge of the storm, then a second area on the back side of the storm.
