Description:
At 634 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
over Goodwin to over Toronto, or along a line from 12 miles northwest
of Clear Lake to 10 miles south of Clear Lake, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. There will be two
waves of winds, with the first on the leading edge of the
storm, then a second area on the back side of the storm.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. At 605 PM, a 59 mph wind gust was
reported 3 miles to the northwest of Bryant.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms have produced widespread
damaging winds and are capable of producing large hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
