At 812 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles south of
Howes, or 34 miles northwest of Philip, moving southeast at 15 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR EXTREME NORTHEASTERN PENNINGTON
COUNTY.
HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect
shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and
vehicles.

Mainly rural areas of West Central Haakon, Eastern Meade and
Northeastern Pennington Counties.

well-built structure. This storm is capable of producing destructive
