At 416 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Deerfield
Reservoir, or 12 miles west of Hill City, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage
to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
Locations impacted include...
Deerfield, Mystic, Deerfield Reservoir, Medicine Mountain and Bear
Mountain Lookout.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail.
