Southeastern Pennington County in west central South Dakota... * Until 600 PM MDT. * At 505 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from near Elm Springs to near Farmingdale, or along a line from 35 miles northeast of Rapid City to 19 miles east of Rapid City, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... New Underwood, Wasta, Owanka, Elm Springs, Wicksville, Creighton, Curlew Lake and Viewfield.
