Description:
At 510 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
over Bear Country to over Keystone, or along a line from 7 miles
southwest of Rapid City to 10 miles southeast of Hill City, moving
east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Hail up to half dollar size.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

Keystone, Hayward, Rockerville, Bear Country, Mount Rushmore
National Memorial, Keystone Wye, Black Hills Playhouse, Center
Lake, Horse Thief Lake, Hart Ranch and northeastern Custer State
Park.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing large hail.
This storm is producing large quantities of hail. Driving through
deep hail is like driving on slushy roads. Slow down and do not brake
suddenly.
