Description:
At 647 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles west of
Polo, or 19 miles north of Highmore, moving south at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. At 632 PM, 1 inch hail was
reported 14 miles south-southeast of Seneca.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
Northwestern Hand and Northeastern Hyde Counties.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and has
produced large hail.
