Description:
At 755 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles southeast
of Stone Lake, or 19 miles northwest of Highmore, moving south at 15
mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
Northwestern Hyde and East Central Sully Counties.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
