Description:
At 814 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles south of
Stone Lake, or 17 miles northwest of Highmore, moving south at 15
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Public reported. At 752 PM, 1 inch hail was reported 18
miles north of Holabird.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
Northwestern Hyde and East Central Sully Counties.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and has
produced large hail.
