Description:
At 343 PM CDT /243 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 12
miles south of Pierre, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
Northwestern Lyman and Southeastern Stanley Counties.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds.
