Description:
At 459 PM MDT /559 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a
line from near Ottumwa to 5 miles southeast of Intersection of
Highway 73 and White River, or along a line from 23 miles northeast
of Philip to 10 miles south of Kadoka, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and small hail.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Kadoka, Midland, Belvidere, Ottumwa, George Town, Nowlin and
Intersection of Highway 73 and White River.
This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 149
and 174.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms have produced widespread
damaging winds.
