The National Weather Service in Rapid City SD has issued a Red Flag
Warning.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 314, 315, 316, 317, 318, 319,
320, 321, 322, 323, 324, 325, 326, 327, 328, 329, 330, 331, 332,
and 333.
* TIMING...From noon Saturday to midnight MDT Saturday Night.
* LIGHTNING...Frequent dry lightning is possible with thunderstorms.
* OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusty and erratic winds are possible in and near
any thunderstorms.
* THUNDERSTORMS...Thunderstorms with little to no rain, gusty and
erratic winds, and frequent lightning are possible.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is not recommended.
Instruction:
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are
expected. A combination of gusty winds, low relative humidity, and
dry lightning can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
