* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southwestern Marion County in east Tennessee... * WHEN...Until 200 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1054 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen already in areas north of Jasper. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches will be possible in the next hour or two. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Jasper, South Pittsburg, Whitwell, Kimball, Orme, Sequatchie Cave, Foster Falls State Park, New Hope and Fiery Gizzard State Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
