At 1151 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... La Follette, Oneida, Jacksboro, Huntsville, Helenwood, Jellico, Caryville, Winfield, Royal Blue, Elk Valley, Norma, Ketchen, Smokey Junction, Cove Lake State Park, Slick Rock, Indian Mountain State Park, Robbins, Fincastle, Elgin and White Oak. This includes Interstate 75 in Tennessee between mile markers 131 and 161.
