* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Edwards, Kinney and Val Verde. * WHEN...Until 115 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 908 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Del Rio, Comstock, Lake View, Long Point, Black Brush Point, Diablo East, Val Verde Park, Governors Landing, Amistad Village, Laughlin AFB, Cienegas Terrace, Amanda, Carta Valley, Amistad Acres, Standart, Box Canyon, 277 North Campground, 277 South Boat Ramp, Devils Shores and Rough Canyon Recreation Area. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
