FFWEWX The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... Uvalde County in south central Texas... * Until 700 PM CDT Wednesday. * At 1142 AM CDT, Doppler radar, emergency management, and rainfall gauges reported ongoing flooding across the warned area. Between 6 and 16 inches of rain had fallen over the past 30 hours. Isolated showers could produce another inch of rain this afternoon. Significant Flash flooding is already occurring with numerous roads underwater and multiple water rescues ongoing. Additionally, local creeks and rivers could quickly become even more swollen across the warned area, campers please be aware overnight. Travel is discouraged within the warned area. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
