Southeastern Uvalde County in south central Texas... * Until 1000 AM CDT. * At 406 AM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Uvalde and Knippa Area. Between 10 and 20 inches of rain have fallen over the past 48 to 60 hours with up to 8 inches in the last 2 hours. Flash flooding is already occurring with numerous water rescues and numerous structures impacted by water within the polygon area This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Uvalde and Knippa Area. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
