East Central Kendall County in south central Texas... * Until 1015 PM CDT Thursday. * At 1019 AM CDT, emergency management reported a dangerous flood wave moving down the Guadalupe River. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. People along the river should move to higher ground. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Flood waters are moving down the Guadalupe River and will continue through the evening. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
