Description:
At 930 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms that had
produced heavy rain in and around Paducah. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen. Little to no additional rainfall is expected in
the warned area, but it will take some time for the runoff from the
earlier heavy rain to recede. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Paducah, Chalk and Hackberry.
