Navasota River Near Easterly affecting Leon and Robertson Counties.
For the Navasota River...including Groesbeck, Easterly...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Navasota River near Easterly.
* WHEN...From this evening until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding below Easterly is
expected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 9.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
evening and continue rising to a crest of 23.8 feet early Monday
morning.
- Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
Instruction:
Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when
walking near riverbanks.
