For the Navasota River...including Groesbeck, Easterly...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Navasota River near Easterly. * WHEN...Until late Wednesday night. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding below Easterly is expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 25.6 feet. - Forecast...The river has crested and is expected to fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon and continue falling to 15.5 feet early Friday afternoon. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
