Frio River Below Dry Frio affecting Uvalde County. Frio River Near Derby affecting Frio County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Nueces River at Laguna. * WHEN...From Wednesday morning to Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding reaches low water crossings on Highway 55 above Barksdale on Hackberry Creek. The Nueces River crossing at Barksdale is very dangerous. East of Camp Wood Farm to Market 337 crosses Camp Wood Creek in three places. Vehicular related drownings have occurred at all these sites. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 2.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 10.5 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
