For the Frio River...including Tilden...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Frio River at Tilden. * WHEN...From Sunday evening until further notice. * IMPACTS...Impact...At 26.0 feet, Moderate flooding occurs. The flow is to the slab elevation of the lowest businesses and homes in Tilden. Numerous roads and low bridges flood and become very dangerous to motorists. Hundreds of livestock are trapped and potentially drowned in the flood plain, below Derby to the Choke Canyon Reservoir. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 1.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.6 feet Monday morning.
