Counties.
West Nueces River At Brackettville affecting Kinney and Uvalde
Counties.
Medina River At Hwy 281 affecting Bexar County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...San Antonio River near Elmendorf.
* WHEN...From this evening to late Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding inundates crop and
pastureland below San Antonio to below Floresville.
At 39.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding damages crops and floods
pastureland below San Antonio to below Floresville. Secondary roads
and low bridges, irrigation pumps, oil field pump jacks and tank
batteries flood. Livestock are cut off in low areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 20.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 33.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 38.7 feet early tomorrow
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Friday
morning.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
38.6 feet on 10/15/2021.

Instruction:
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
