...The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio TX has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas... Guadalupe River at Hunt affecting Kerr County. Cibolo Creek at Sutherland Springs affecting Karnes and Wilson Counties. Cibolo Creek Near Falls City affecting Karnes County. San Antonio River near Floresville affecting Karnes and Wilson Counties. Seco Creek At at Rowe Ranch Near D'Hanis affecting Medina County. Hondo Creek At King Waterhole at Hwy 173 affecting Medina County. Nueces River Near Asherton affecting Dimmit County. * WHAT...Major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Hondo Creek at King Waterhole at Hwy 173. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding inundates Farm to Market 462 at several low crossings over Hondo Creek. At 14.0 feet, Major flooding escapes the main channel into the right and left flood plains approaching Highway 90 east of Hondo and Highway 173 north of Hondo. Farm to Market 462 north of Hondo floods at several low water crossings. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 7.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this afternoon to 15.0 feet this evening.
