...The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio TX has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas... Guadalupe River at Hunt affecting Kerr County. Cibolo Creek at Sutherland Springs affecting Karnes and Wilson Counties. Cibolo Creek Near Falls City affecting Karnes County. San Antonio River near Floresville affecting Karnes and Wilson Counties. Seco Creek At at Rowe Ranch Near D'Hanis affecting Medina County. Hondo Creek At King Waterhole at Hwy 173 affecting Medina County. Nueces River Near Asherton affecting Dimmit County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Guadalupe River at Hunt. * WHEN...From this afternoon to late tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Flow extends over low sections of the banks. At 10.0 feet, Water extends into low areas of the flood plain. Lower bridges on the north and south fork of the Guadalupe along highways 39 and FM 1341 become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:05 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 10.1 feet tomorrow morning.
