East Mustang Creek near Louise affecting Wharton and Jackson Counties. For the Tres Palacios River...including Midfield...Moderate flooding is forecast. For the East Mustang Creek...including Louise...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Mustang Creek near Louise. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Minor lowland begins as water spills into the floodplain downstream of the gage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 19.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:30 PM CDT Wednesday was 19.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this evening and continue falling to 5.4 feet early Monday afternoon. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.6 feet on 07/02/2010. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
