Sabinal At Sabinal affecting Uvalde County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Sabinal at Sabinal. * WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Major lowland flooding from the headwaters to the Frio River confluence. Very dangerous to campers upstream near Utopia. Many secondary and primary roads and low bridges are flooded and dangerous. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 12.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday was 18.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage this evening to 10.2 feet tomorrow morning. It will then rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to 24.1 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will fall below flood stage again early Friday morning to 6.7 feet Sunday morning. It will then rise to 7.0 feet late Sunday morning.
