Guadalupe River At Kerrville affecting Kerr County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Guadalupe River at Kerrville. * WHEN...Until late this evening. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Flow is near the USGS 1:25 year flood level. Flooding is life threatening from the headwaters to below Comfort. Lowest homes above Center Point to below Comfort flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:05 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:05 AM CDT Thursday was 17.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 22.5 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late this morning to 3.8 feet late this evening. It will rise to 3.9 feet late this evening. It will then fall to 2.4 feet early Saturday morning. It will rise to 2.6 feet Saturday morning.
