Pedernales River At Fredericksburg affecting Blanco and Gillespie Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pedernales River at Fredericksburg. * WHEN...From this morning to just after midnight tonight. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding covers many secondary roads and bridges from the headwaters to Stonewall making them very dangerous to motorists. Low areas of LBJ National Park and the Park Road 49 bridge are flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 23.8 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this afternoon. - Flood stage is 22.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 22.6 feet on 10/16/2018. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
