Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. To escape rising water, take the shortest path to higher ground. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued late tonight by 330 AM CDT.
