Frio River Below Dry Frio affecting Uvalde County.
Devils River At Cauthorn Ranch Near Juno affecting Val Verde
County.

Sabinal At Sabinal affecting Uvalde County.
Frio River Near Derby affecting Frio County.
* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Sabinal at Sabinal.
* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding impacts lowest
secondary roads, crossings and low bridges.
At 16.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding inundates lowest secondary
roads and bridges in the flood plain from the headwaters to the
Frio River confluence.
At 20.0 feet, Lowland flooding damages crops and floods
pastureland cutting off and potentially drowning livestock in low
areas of the flood plain. Secondary roads and low bridges flood
severely as the flood wave passes downstream.
At 24.0 feet, Major lowland flooding from the headwaters to the
Frio River confluence. Very dangerous to campers upstream near
Utopia. Many secondary and primary roads and low bridges are
flooded and dangerous.

- At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will oscillate around flood stage with a
maximum value of 24.1 feet this afternoon.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
To escape rising water, take the shortest path to higher ground.
