increased in duration for the following rivers in Texas...
Llano River Near Mason affecting Mason County.
For the Llano River...including Junction, Mason...Moderate flooding
is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Llano River near Mason.
* WHEN...Until Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding will occur.
Secondary roads and low water crossings will be flooded and
impassible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 1:00 PM CDT Thursday was 23.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.3 feet
this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
morning.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 24.1
