...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas...
Llano River Near Junction affecting Kimble County.
For the Llano River...including Junction, Mason...Moderate flooding
is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Llano River near Junction.
* WHEN...Until Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Moderate flooding will occur. Roads and low
water crossings will be flooded and impassible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 8:15 PM CDT Thursday was 23.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late this
evening to 8.1 feet tomorrow morning. It will then rise to 9.0
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will fall to 7.6 feet late
tomorrow evening. It will then rise to 7.7 feet late tomorrow
evening. It will fall again and remain below flood stage.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 23.7
feet on 10/28/1996.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
