Rio Grande At Laredo affecting Webb County.
For the Rio Grande...including Columbia Bridge, Laredo...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Rio Grande at Columbia Bridge.
* WHEN...From late tonight to Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, or 8.5 meters, the flow reaches the height
of left bank. Flow exceeds left bank near the gauge. Most of
customs and mall parking lots are inundated downstream in Laredo.
The lowest residences are threatened in Laredo and Nuevo Laredo.
Livestock, pumps, and equipment in the river channel are flooded
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 10.3 feet (3.1 meters).
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet (4.9 meters).
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
after midnight tonight to a crest of 29.0 feet (8.8 meters) early
Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday
morning.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet (5.5 meters).

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
