...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... Cibolo Creek Near Falls City affecting Karnes County. Cibolo Creek at Sutherland Springs affecting Karnes and Wilson Counties. San Antonio River at Hwy 72 near Runge affecting Karnes and Goliad Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cibolo Creek at Sutherland Springs. * WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, Water submerges the roadway just south of the FM 539 bridge, making it impassable. Homes are not yet impacted at this level. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 34.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:15 AM CDT Friday was 35.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tonight and continue falling to 7.5 feet Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 34.3 feet on 05/25/2015. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
