Frio River At Concan affecting Uvalde County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Nueces River near Asherton. * WHEN...Until late Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 31.0 feet, The Nueces River and Turkey Creek are a mile and a half wide south and west of Crystal City. Farm to Market 190 is flooded over a mile near the Nueces River and the bridge floor is flooded. Livestock should be moved from the flood plain. Upstream, Highway 85 becomes impassable as routed water spills into Soldier Slough and over the highway. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 24.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM CDT Friday was 24.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 30.2 feet tomorrow morning.
