Rio Grande River At Eagle Pass affecting Maverick County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Rio Grande River at Eagle Pass. * WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, (5.5 meters), Moderate flooding. Much of Shelby Park is flooded. Water floods the lowest sections of the golf course. Lowland flooding is well into the flood plain at Eagle Pass. Flooding any activities or equipment in the flood plain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 19.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 PM CDT Friday was 19.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 4.5 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
