...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... Nueces River At Cotulla affecting La Salle County. Frio River At Tilden affecting McMullen and Live Oak Counties. For the Nueces River...including Cotulla, Tilden, Three Rivers, Mathis, Bluntzer, Calallen...Major flooding is forecast. For the Frio River...including Tilden...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Nueces River at Cotulla. * WHEN...From Monday afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Major and massive lowland flooding occurs. Evacuations of livestock and a few residential properties along the river required. Many roads near the river will flood, including FM 3408 from I-35, Valley Wells Road, the frontage road near mile marker 67. Flooding also occurs on Dobie Road including in and around Highway 624. FM 624 also floods south of Highway 97 toward Fowlerton. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 4.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Monday afternoon and continue rising to 20.5 feet Wednesday evening.
