San Antonio River at Hwy 72 near Runge affecting Goliad and Karnes Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...San Antonio River at Hwy 72 near Runge. * WHEN...Until Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 31.0 feet, Flooding spreads across the wide flood plain upstream and downstream. No structures are threatened. Livestock and farm equipment will need to removed from the floodplain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 31.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:15 AM CDT Saturday was 31.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.0 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning. - Flood stage is 27.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 32.9 feet on 05/28/2013. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
