North central Brewster County in southwestern Texas... * Until 700 PM CDT. * At 557 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 23 miles north of Marathon, or 28 miles southwest of Fort Stockton, moving northwest at 10 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR BELDING. HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter.
