Description:
At 802 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 21 miles north of
Marathon, or 27 miles northeast of Alpine, moving north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Observed. At 754 PM, a 60 mph wind gust was reported via
Glass Mountain Ranch West Texas Mesonet 21 miles N of
Marathon.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of west
central Pecos and north central Brewster Counties.
