Description:
At 839 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Olton to 6 miles west of Reese Center, moving east at
35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Lubbock, Levelland, Littlefield, Olton, Earth, Shallowater, Anton,
Sudan, Amherst, Cotton Center, Fieldton, Spade, Halfway, Whitharral,
Reese Center, Smyer, Opdyke West, and Springlake.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
