At 237 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over northeastern Wichita Falls, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 233 PM CDT, quarter size hail was reported near the intersection of I-44 and U.S. Highway 287.. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Wichita Falls, Dean, Sheppard AFB, and Pleasant Valley.
