Smith County in northeastern Texas... * Until 400 PM CDT. * At 254 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 15 miles south of Golden to near Arp, or along a line from 14 miles southwest of Mineola to 6 miles east of Whitehouse, moving south at 5 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Tyler, Whitehouse, Lindale, Troup, Arp, Noonday, New Chapel Hill and Carroll.
