At 419 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Lewiston, or 8 miles south of Preston, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Cache, Smithfield, Lewiston, Trenton, Peter, Garden, Benson, Hyde Park, Richmond, Newton, Amalga, Cornish, and Beaver Mountain. This includes US Route 89 between mile markers 472 and 492.
