Description:
At 503 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Utah State University, or over Logan, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Logan, Hyrum, Utah State University, Benson, North Logan, Providence,
Nibley, Hyde Park, Millville, River Heights, and College Ward.
This includes US Route 89 between mile markers 459 and 479.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
