Description:
At 330 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 22 miles south of Vernon to Nephi. Movement was
northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Nephi, Rocky Ridge, Elberta, Mona, Levan, Eureka, Little Sahara State
Park, Jericho, Lofgreen, and Tintic Junction.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 15 between mile markers 207 and 240.
US Route 6 between mile markers 110 and 142, and between mile
markers 144 and 149.
US Route 89 between mile markers 299 and 300.
