Description:
At 537 PM MDT, local law enforcement and UDOT Cameras indicate a
debris flow reaching US 89 at mile marker 184 originating from the
Silver King burn scar at the outlet of Deer Creek. Additional
flooding remains likely near mile marker 181 at the outlet of Beaver
Creek. Between 0.5 and 1.35 inches of rain have fallen. Flash
flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Silver King Burn
Scar...specifically at the outlets of Deer Creek and
Beaver Creek

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around
the Silver King Burn Scar...specifically Beaver Creek
and Deer Creek drainages.

Hoover rest area, and the outlet of Beaver Creek on US 89
Instruction:
This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause
extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and
ditches in the Silver King Burn Scar. Severe debris flows can also
be anticipated across roads. Roads and driveways may be washed away
in places. If you encounter flood waters...climb to safety.
