Description:
At 529 PM MDT, Piute County Emergency Management reported Flash
Flooding and debris flows in upper Bullion Canyon with flood waters
moving downstream Bullion Creek towards Marysvale. Between 0.5 and
0.6 inches of rain have fallen from earlier thunderstorms. Flash
flooding is already occurring.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through the Bullion Canyon. The debris flow can consist of
rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Silver King Burn
Scar...specifically Bullion Canyon

Instruction:
This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause
extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and
ditches in Bullion Canyon within the Silver King Burn Scar. Severe
debris flows can also be anticipated across roads above Fireman's
Park. Roads and driveways may be washed away in places. If you
encounter flood waters...climb to safety.
Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
